Peer to Peer Appeals Coordinator

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Peer to Peer Appeals Coordinator will manage calls with payers to schedule Peer to Peer discussions, document information in proprietary systems, and support various departmental functions while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule Peer to Peer calls with CorroHealth Medical Directors and follow up on past scheduled cases
• Document details from payer calls and enter account statuses into multiple databases
• Provide support for case entry, Peer to Peer processes, and appeals as needed

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Call center experience preferred
• Understanding of denials processes for Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial/Managed Care product lines is a plus
• Prior experience accessing hospital EMRs and Payer Portals preferred
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel, with accurate keyboard skills (minimum 30 wpm typing speed)
