Peer Tutor

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Academic Success Center Peer Tutor - Federal Work Study.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with students in individual or group tutoring sessions
• Suggest ways for students to improve study skills and learning strategies
• Refer students to other centers or university services as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Two recommendations from faculty members, including one from a content area expert
• Good standing with a GPA minimum of 3.0 and a minimum GPA of 3.5 in the area(s) they tutor
• Must be a current National University student who has completed a current FAFSA
• Ability to work up to 20 hours per week with a varied working schedule
