Pega Developer
Job Summary
Seeking a remote Pega Developer, the successful candidate will configure, test, document, and support workflow capabilities for an enterprise Pega Cloud modernization effort within the Department of Veterans Affairs, while actively participating in the Agile development lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Configure Pega case types, workflows, and user-interface components while implementing integrations and data mappings
- Develop and execute unit tests, support various testing phases, and analyze and resolve defects in workflows and rules
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release activities
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of software or enterprise application development experience, including 2+ years of hands-on Pega development
- Working knowledge of Pega case management, workflows, and user-interface configuration
- Experience in an Agile delivery environment implementing user stories and acceptance criteria
- Understanding of configuration management, version control, and unit testing practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
