Pega System Architect
Job Summary
To support a Pega Cloud modernization effort within the Department of Veterans Affairs, the remote Pega System Architect will translate business and technical requirements into application designs, mentor developers, and ensure compliance with architectural standards.
Key responsibilities
- Translate business and technical requirements into detailed Pega application designs, including case types, workflows, and integrations
- Collaborate with developers to implement complex features and perform design reviews to identify and resolve issues
- Mentor developers on Pega patterns and support Agile delivery processes, including backlog refinement and sprint planning
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise application development or architecture experience, including 3+ years of hands-on Pega design and implementation experience
- Strong knowledge of Pega case management, workflows, and integrations
- Experience converting requirements into detailed, implementable Pega designs
- Working knowledge of REST services, JSON, and enterprise integration concepts
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
