Penetration Tester

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Penetration Tester to evaluate the security of applications, networks, and cloud environments for a federal agency.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to define objectives, rules of engagement, and success criteria for safe execution
• Perform passive and active discovery of attack surfaces to map trust boundaries
• Conduct manual testing of web and mobile applications to identify vulnerabilities

Required Qualifications

• Strong understanding of web application security and attack techniques
• Ability to differentiate between false positives and exploitable issues
• Experience in documenting evidence and providing remediation guidance
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Previous experience in federal contracting environments is preferred
