Penetration Tester

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Penetration Tester will validate and drive the closure of security vulnerabilities across the enterprise, assess findings for exploitability, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure effective remediation.

Key Responsibilities

• Triage incoming vulnerability reports, assessing severity, exploitability, and business impact
• Perform targeted retesting of remediated vulnerabilities and document results with technical evidence
• Monitor remediation timelines, coordinate with teams for timely closure, and produce weekly status reports

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on penetration testing experience (web applications, APIs, infrastructure)
• Demonstrated experience triaging vulnerabilities at scale with risk-based prioritization
• Strong understanding of common vulnerability classes and remediation strategies
• Experience with vulnerability management platforms (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow)
• Ability to write clear, reproducible proof-of-concept exploits and validation reports
