Pennsylvania and New Jersey Licensed Civil Litigation Associate

Job Summary

To support a growing civil defense litigation team, the full-time Pennsylvania and New Jersey Licensed Civil Litigation Associate will manage all phases of professional liability, general liability, and commercial litigation matters remotely, collaborating with experienced litigators from pre-suit through appeal.

Key responsibilities

• Handle all phases of litigation from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings and conducting legal research
• Manage discovery and prepare for depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation while communicating with clients and opposing counsel
• Collaborate with attorneys across offices on complex litigation matters and provide proactive case management and client reporting

Required qualifications

• Admission to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey is required, with admission to Federal Courts preferred
• 4 to 5 years of experience in professional liability, general liability, or commercial litigation
• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced litigation environment
• Strong organizational and case management skills
