Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder II.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze medical records to identify diagnoses and procedures for coding
• Translate diagnostic and procedural phrases into coded form using Encoder software
• Assist in training new coding staff and ensure compliance with coding guidelines

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience required
• One of the following certifications required: CPC, CRC, or RHIT
• Experience with hospital and professional coding guidelines
• Understanding of coding regulations and guidelines
