Job Summary

A company is looking for a Credentialing Coordinator I.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducts background investigations on physicians and other providers applying for affiliation
  • Reviews and analyzes physician applications and credentialing documents for completeness and compliance
  • Maintains tracking of new provider data and prepares files for Credentials Committee review
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare required
  • Understanding of regulatory agencies and third-party payor requirements
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and legal documentation standards
  • Experience with clerical support functions and organizing information
