Job Summary
Seeking a part-time Pennsylvania Licensed Attorney, the role will provide legal assistance to nonprofit organizations by reviewing and drafting documents, managing client projects, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws, all while working remotely with flexible hours.
Key responsibilities
- Review, draft, and finalize legal documents including contracts and grant agreements for nonprofit clients
- Research federal, state, and local laws related to nonprofit governance and compliance
- Manage multiple client projects and communicate directly with clients to align on timelines and expectations
Required qualifications
- J.D. degree required; must be licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and in good standing
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience, particularly in nonprofit and corporate law
- Strong interest and experience in serving nonprofit organizations through pro bono work or similar
- Experience with corporate transactional law and familiarity with federal and state taxation preferred
