Job Summary
To support a growing legal team, a part-time Pennsylvania Licensed Attorney will provide legal assistance to nonprofit organization clients, managing client matters remotely while reviewing and drafting documents, conducting legal research, and collaborating with colleagues.
Key responsibilities
- Review, draft, and finalize various legal documents including contracts and grant agreements
- Conduct research on federal, state, and local laws related to nonprofit governance and compliance
- Manage multiple client projects, ensuring timely communication and adherence to project timelines and budgets
Required qualifications
- J.D. degree and licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience, particularly in nonprofit or corporate law
- Strong interest and experience in serving nonprofit organizations
- Experience with corporate transactional law and familiarity with taxation issues preferred
