Pennsylvania Licensed Care Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Care Manager, BH - Remote PA.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor inpatient and outpatient mental health and substance abuse services for medical necessity and effectiveness
• Provide telephone triage, crisis intervention, and emergency authorizations as needed
• Develop and oversee implementation of discharge plans in collaboration with providers and facilities

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Current licensure in PA (CEAP, LMSW, LCSW, LSW, LPC, or RN)
• Minimum of 2 years of post-degree experience in healthcare, behavioral health, psychiatric, or substance abuse settings
• Knowledge of utilization management procedures and community resources for mental health and substance abuse
• Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Familiarity with DSM V or the most current diagnostic edition
