Pennsylvania Licensed Care Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Care Manager, BH - Remote PA.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor inpatient and outpatient services for medical necessity and effectiveness in mental health and substance abuse treatment
• Provide telephone triage, crisis intervention, and emergency authorizations as assigned
• Develop and oversee discharge plans in conjunction with providers and facilities

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Current licensure in the state, such as CEAP, LMSW, LCSW, LSW, LPC, or RN
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare, behavioral health, psychiatric, or substance abuse settings
• Knowledge of utilization management procedures and community resources for mental health and substance abuse
• Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Understanding of DSM V or the most current diagnostic edition
