Job Summary
Seeking a Pennsylvania Licensed Care Manager, the full-time remote professional will manage mental health and substance abuse services for children and adolescents, focusing on utilization review, discharge planning, and care coordination.
Key responsibilities
- Monitors inpatient and outpatient services to ensure medical necessity and effectiveness
- Provides telephone triage, crisis intervention, and emergency authorizations as assigned
- Develops and oversees discharge plans in collaboration with providers and facilities
Required qualifications
- Current Pennsylvania license such as CEAP, LMSW, LCSW, LSW, LPC, or RN
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare, behavioral health, psychiatric, or substance abuse settings
- Knowledge of utilization management procedures and community resources for mental health and substance abuse
- Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Ability to analyze utilization problems and implement solutions that enhance quality of care
