Pennsylvania Licensed Claims Representative

Job Summary

Handling liability and property claims under close supervision, the full-time Pennsylvania Licensed Claims Representative will investigate claims, evaluate and negotiate settlements, and ensure compliance with state insurance laws while working remotely from home near Harrisburg, PA.

Key responsibilities:

• Investigates and adjudicates claims, verifying coverage and maintaining reserves while documenting claim files
• Establishes contact with all parties involved in the claim and responds to inquiries from policyholders and agents
• Evaluates and negotiates claims, recognizing subrogation opportunities and initiating payment actions as appropriate

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED with two years of related claims handling or customer service experience
• Preferred completion of Introduction to Insurance (INTRO) and Introduction to Claims (AIC 30) courses
• Must obtain required state licenses within 45 days of employment
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred
