Pennsylvania Licensed Clinical Documentation Educator

Job Summary

To enhance clinical documentation practices, the full-time Pennsylvania Licensed Clinical Documentation Educator will develop and implement education programs for CDI specialists and providers, mentor new staff, and collaborate with healthcare professionals, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement clinical documentation education programs for CDI specialists and providers
• Mentor and train new staff to ensure effective onboarding and compliance with documentation standards
• Analyze documentation trends and provide feedback to improve educational efforts for providers and staff

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred
• Minimum of 6 years of clinical experience required
• Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Certification as a Clinical Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP) or Clinical Documentation Specialist (CDS) required
• Experience in clinical documentation improvement practices and regulatory compliance
