Job Summary
Providing clinical pharmacy expertise, the full-time Pennsylvania Licensed Clinical Pharmacy Specialist will manage therapeutic drug interventions and collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams while working remotely from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and evaluate therapeutic drug interventions and clinical pharmacy programs to control pharmacy trends and improve quality measures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate member care and develop innovative clinical programs and operational efficiencies
- Conduct Drug Utilization Review (DUR) and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) activities while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm.D.) from an accredited U.S. School of Pharmacy
- Experience in pharmacy benefit management, managed care, or direct patient pharmacy practice
- Registration as a registered pharmacist (RPh) in Pennsylvania or eligibility for licensure
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Computer literacy for pharmacy programming and data management
