Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder to provide coding services and support utilizing clinical documentation in electronic health record systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely coding services to assigned markets using multiple EHR systems
• Ensure accurate charge posting by collaborating with the Charge Capture and Insurance Billing Operations Department
• Educate providers on clinical documentation requirements and assist in capturing all coding possibilities

Required Qualifications

• High School Graduate/GED required; Technical School, 2 Years College, or Associates Degree preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in healthcare billing, coding, or equivalent operations work environment
• AAPC CPC Certification required
• Experience with multi-specialty, primary care, and internal medicine coding
• Understanding of the revenue cycle and related components preferred
