Pennsylvania Licensed Coding Manager

Job Summary

To support outpatient and inpatient coding, the full-time salaried Pennsylvania Licensed Coding Manager will manage day-to-day coding inquiries, oversee training for new hires, and engage in client development activities while working remotely with occasional in-person responsibilities in Pittsburgh, PA.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee the review and resolution of claims issues related to correct coding initiatives
• Coordinate training and educational sessions for coding operations staff
• Facilitate client coding project implementations and monitor project status

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in health care administration, business, or related discipline; or completion of an approved Health Information program
• Three years of experience in physician and/or hospital clinical/procedural coding
• Basic understanding of managed care delivery systems
• Direct experience with physician/provider practices and various insurance/network products
• Proficiency in utilizing PC-based system applications
