Pennsylvania Licensed Communication Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Deaf and Nontraditional Communication Professional- Advanced.

Key Responsibilities

• Support individuals using nontraditional communication methods including ASL and tactile sign language
• Assist in assessing statewide communication support needs and collaborate with agencies to enhance access
• Develop training materials and monitor the implementation of communication supports

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology or a related field
• 2+ years of experience with individuals using sign or nontraditional communication methods
• 1+ year of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Fluency in American Sign Language at Survival Level; Intermediate Plus level preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
