Job Summary

A company is looking for a Credit Refund Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and resolve credit balances using assigned software
  • Process self-pay and insurance refunds while documenting actions taken
  • Assist with account reconciliation questions and ensure compliance with payor contracts
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 3 years of physician or hospital billing/insurance follow-up experience or 2 years of refunding experience with an automated patient accounting system
  • Knowledge of insurance companies' contracts and regulations
  • Mathematical competency for understanding debits, credits, and adjustments
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite
