Job Summary
Providing compassionate telephonic support, the full-time Pennsylvania Licensed Crisis Counselor will engage with individuals in distress, conducting risk assessments and crisis interventions while working remotely from Pennsylvania.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver empathetic and professional telephonic support to individuals experiencing emotional or behavioral distress
- Assess emotional health concerns and provide appropriate resources, coping strategies, and safety planning
- Maintain accurate documentation while effectively multitasking across multiple software systems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Minimum of one year of direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services
- Residency in Pennsylvania is required for this fully remote position
- Ability to maintain a distraction-free, private office space to ensure HIPAA compliance
- Successful completion of a six-week paid virtual training cohort is required for continued employment
