Pennsylvania Licensed Diet Assistant

Job Summary

To support patient dietary needs, the part-time Pennsylvania Licensed Diet Assistant will transcribe diet orders, update patient menus, and ensure accurate meal delivery while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Transcribes patient diet orders and enters nourishment specifications into patient diet history files
• Processes and verifies accuracy of patient tray tickets and manages specialized meal patterns
• Initiates emergency procedures and assists staff to ensure patients receive meals as ordered

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required
• Minimum of 1 year of related work experience preferred
• Experience with department software and patient dietary management systems
• Ability to calculate fluid restrictions and specialized meal patterns
• Occasional travel to campus for training purposes is required
