Job Summary
Supporting the Outpatient Bariatric Medicine program, the full-time Pennsylvania Licensed Dietetic Technician will conduct telehealth bariatric assessments and collaborate with dietitians and foodservice teams, with onsite training and 1-2 onsite days monthly in Allentown, PA.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct telehealth assessments for bariatric patients to support nutrition care plans
- Collaborate with Registered Dietitians and foodservice teams to ensure high-quality patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow clinical protocols in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Required qualifications:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Dietetic Technician Program or equivalent coursework and supervised practice
- Eligibility for Nutrition & Dietetics Technician, Registered (DTR) certification or Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification
- Certification/licensure as required by the state of practice
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth in clinical nutrition
- Ability to adapt and coordinate multiple tasks effectively in a healthcare setting
