Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Documentation Quality & Education.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform record reviews to ensure accurate documentation of Patient Safety Indicators (PSIs) and compliance with coding guidelines
• Prepare and analyze quality and financial reports related to clinical documentation
• Communicate effectively and present information to clinical end users while demonstrating critical thinking skills

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Minimum five years of progressive coding or Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) experience
• Working knowledge of DRG structure and clinical conditions affecting quality outcomes
• Previous experience training clinicians is preferred
• Bachelor's Degree is required
• CCS and CDIS certification required; one certification must be obtained within 12 months if only one is held at hire
