Job Summary

A company is looking for an EMR Data Content Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze medical records for compliance with documentation standards and regulations
• Facilitate communication with providers regarding required documentation for coding and billing
• Perform regulatory audits and assessments of medical record documentation

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Health Information Technology or related field, or a High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of relevant experience
• 2 years of experience with HIM applications and Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• 2 years of experience in a healthcare or acute care setting
• Strong analytical skills for identifying documentation deficiencies
• Knowledge of Joint Commission and federal/state standards and regulations
