Pennsylvania Licensed Home Dialysis Nurse

Job Summary

Providing essential on-call care, the full-time Pennsylvania Licensed Home Dialysis Nurse will assist patients with home hemodialysis (HHD) or peritoneal dialysis (PD) needs, troubleshoot technical issues, and address patient care concerns while working remotely three shifts a week, including overnight and weekend coverage.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage on-call patient care for HHD and PD, addressing technical and patient-related issues
• Follow DaVita protocols and utilize proprietary software systems for effective communication and troubleshooting
• Handle approximately 25-35 patient calls per shift, demonstrating critical thinking and nursing knowledge

Required qualifications:

• Current Pennsylvania RN license with a minimum of 1 year of experience in home dialysis (HHD/PD)
• Proficiency in using proprietary software systems such as Falcon, CWOW, Outlook, and Excel
• Ability to work overnight shifts from 5 PM to 6 AM, including weekends
• Experience as a Kidney Smart Educator is a plus
• Compliance with Federal and State vaccination requirements related to COVID-19
