Job Summary
Supporting the Pennsylvania/Virginia Staff Counsel team, the remote Pennsylvania Licensed Insurance Defense Paralegal will assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, answering interrogatories, and summarizing medical records while managing various legal support tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Assists attorneys in answering interrogatories and preparing legal documents, including motions and briefs
- Obtains, reviews, and summarizes medical records, coordinating with experts as needed
- Prepares documents and evidence for trial, including interviewing witnesses as necessary
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree or 3 years of paralegal experience preferred
- Paralegal certificate or degree in paralegal studies, or completion of at least one year of law school
- One year of experience in a civil litigation law firm preferred
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree and paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program
