Job Summary
To support the legal team, a full-time Pennsylvania Licensed Insurance Defense Partner will manage complex general liability cases, advise clients, represent them in court, and supervise junior attorneys while contributing to the firm's growth and operational needs.
Key responsibilities
- Independently manage cases from initiation to resolution, including pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation
- Advise clients on legal rights, obligations, and strategies for business transactions and litigation
- Conduct extensive legal research and draft substantial legal documents, including briefs and memos
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in general liability/insurance defense
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania (additional state admissions are a plus)
- Experience in negotiations and mediations
- Strong analytical and research skills
