Job Summary
Serving as the primary point of contact for a small portfolio of law firm clients, the full-time Pennsylvania Licensed Law Firm Accounting Manager will oversee financial package reviews, manage complex trust account cleanups, and mentor team members while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a small portfolio of law firm clients
- Review all monthly financial packages produced by the accounting team before delivery to law firm partners
- Supervise and mentor new or struggling team members, implementing structured training plans
Required qualifications:
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in a professional services environment, with at least 2+ years in a supervisory role
- Expert-level understanding of financial statements, variance analyses, and trust account management
- Direct experience with IOLTA trust compliance and legal software
- Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Clio or equivalent legal tech platforms
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA license or progress toward CPA/Master's designation preferred
