Job Summary

A company is looking for a Loan Underwriter responsible for evaluating and assessing loan applications to determine the creditworthiness of applicants.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze loan applications, credit reports, financial statements, and other relevant documents
• Assess borrowers' ability to repay loans by evaluating income, assets, debts, and credit history
• Ensure compliance with company lending policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field (preferred)
• Experience in loan underwriting, risk assessment, or financial analysis
• Strong knowledge of lending regulations
• Proficiency in financial analysis and credit assessment
• Familiarity with loan underwriting software and financial modeling tools
