Job Summary
Managing Workers' Compensation Lost Time and Medical Only claims remotely, the full-time Pennsylvania Licensed Lost Time Claims Specialist will evaluate claims, determine compensability, and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure optimal outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
- Evaluate and establish action plans for managing medical and indemnity benefits associated with injury claims
- Conduct interviews and gather facts to make informed decisions on claim outcomes
- Collaborate with injured workers, employers, and medical professionals to facilitate timely return-to-work processes
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
- Three years of experience in workers' compensation insurance required
- One valid workers' compensation adjuster license is strongly preferred
- Experience managing claims in Pennsylvania and knowledge of relevant laws and procedures
- Ability to manage claims through the litigation process
