Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Assistant-Care Management ED Outreach.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in assessing, examining, and treating patients, including performing diagnostic procedures
• Manage patient flow, escort patients to exam rooms, and document vital signs and medical history
• Maintain inventory of clinical supplies and adhere to HIPAA privacy and security requirements

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Medical Assistant Certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association must be obtained within 90 days of hire
• Experience in a physician office or healthcare setting preferred
• EPIC experience is preferred
