Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Assistant - Population Health Patient Outreach Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform telephonic outreach to facilitate preventive and chronic care services for patients
• Assist physicians with examinations and various diagnostic procedures, including EKGs and phlebotomy
• Manage patient flow and maintain inventory of clinical supplies

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Medical Assistant Certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association must be obtained within 90 days of hire
• 3+ years of clinical experience preferred, with primary care experience being advantageous
• Graduate of an accredited post-secondary medical assisting education program preferred for NJ applicants
