Pennsylvania Licensed Medical Assistant
Job Summary
To support the East Multi-Disciplinary Team, a full-time Pennsylvania Licensed Medical Assistant will process medication prior authorizations for multiple primary care offices while working remotely after training.
Key responsibilities
- Manage patient flow, assist with examinations, and collect patient information and vitals
- Send and receive medical records in compliance with HIPAA and maintain confidentiality
- Perform clinical procedures, document patient information, and assist physicians as needed
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology
- CPR certification based on AHA standards within 30 days of hire
- Clearances: Act 31, Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 with renewals
