Job Summary
To support the Population Health Team, the full-time Pennsylvania Licensed Medical Assistant will perform telephonic outreach to patients, facilitate preventive and chronic care services, and assist physicians with various diagnostic procedures, primarily in a remote capacity with occasional in-office work in Center City Philadelphia.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct telephonic outreach to facilitate preventive and chronic care services for patients
- Assist physicians with examinations and perform diagnostic procedures such as EKGs and venipuncture
- Manage patient flow and maintain inventory of clinical supplies for smooth office operations
Required qualifications
- Medical Assistant Certification and a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience
- Primary care experience is preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association must be obtained within 90 days of hire
- Experience in a physician office or healthcare setting is preferred
