Job Summary
To support the Population Health Team, the full-time Pennsylvania Licensed Medical Assistant will perform telephonic outreach to patients, facilitate preventive and chronic care services, and assist physicians with various diagnostic procedures, while primarily working remotely with occasional in-office responsibilities in Center City Philadelphia.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct telephonic outreach to patients to promote preventive and chronic care services
- Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and patient flow management
- Maintain and order clinical supplies to ensure smooth operations within the office
Required qualifications
- Medical Assistant Certification and a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience
- Preferred experience in a primary care setting
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire
- Proficiency in medical terminology and familiarity with medical office procedures
