Pennsylvania Licensed Medical Billing Associate

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare practice, the full-time Pennsylvania Licensed Medical Billing Associate will manage unbilled claims, resolve billing issues, and ensure accurate coding while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Operations to resolve issues related to unbilled claims and insurance documentation
• Analyze and resolve issues causing payer payment delays while maintaining accurate CPT and diagnostic codes
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, insurances, and facilities while auditing account inquiries

Required qualifications

• 2-3 years of medical billing experience is required
• Ambulance billing experience is strongly preferred
• Extensive knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations and medical necessity in ambulance transportation
• Proficiency in CPT and ICD-10 coding
• Ambulance/Medical billing certification or diploma is preferred
