Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder - Medical Coding (resident in Eastern Standard Time Zone).

Key Responsibilities

• Review medical records to identify diagnoses and procedures for coding
• Translate diagnostic and procedural phrases into coded form using software
• Assist in training new coding staff and ensure compliance with coding guidelines

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required
• 1 year of related experience preferred
• Medical Billing and Coding diploma preferred
• Coding Certification through AAPC or AHIMA for higher-level positions
• 3 years of relevant experience for advanced roles
