Job Summary

A company is looking for a part-time Patient Benefits Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and respond to requests for information regarding the State Eligibility System and oversee the patient Self Pay process
  • Generate and manage electronic reports, enter data into patient medical records, and investigate discrepancies in patient payer information
  • Communicate with internal staff and patients regarding insurance coverage and track monthly payments and self-pay reports
Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Experience with State Eligibility systems preferred
  • Experience with Self Pay processes preferred
  • Strong organizational and data entry skills
  • Ability to pass background checks and obtain necessary clearances
