Job Summary
A company is looking for a part-time Patient Benefits Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and respond to requests for information regarding the State Eligibility System and oversee the patient Self Pay process
- Generate and manage electronic reports, enter data into patient medical records, and investigate discrepancies in patient payer information
- Communicate with internal staff and patients regarding insurance coverage and track monthly payments and self-pay reports
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- Experience with State Eligibility systems preferred
- Experience with Self Pay processes preferred
- Strong organizational and data entry skills
- Ability to pass background checks and obtain necessary clearances
