Job Summary

To support pharmacy benefit management, the full-time Pennsylvania Licensed Pharmacist will perform extensive literature reviews, administer pharmacy benefits in collaboration with the Health Plan Pharmacy Customer Service team, and ensure high-quality member care while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison between the Health Plan and customers regarding pharmaceutical benefits
  • Perform medical necessity reviews for formulary exceptions and prior authorizations
  • Develop clinical criteria for pharmaceuticals and suggest operational improvements
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (preferred)
  • Active and unrestricted Pennsylvania Pharmacist license within 90 days
  • Experience in pharmacy benefit management or related field
