Job Summary
To support a growing pharmacy team, the full-time Pennsylvania Licensed Pharmacist will verify patient and prescriber enrollment in REMS programs, provide clinical counseling, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Verify patient and prescriber enrollment in the appropriate REMS program and confirm required conditions are met
- Conduct outreach to prescribers for clarification as needed
- Complete other assigned duties while adhering to HIPAA guidelines and corporate policies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D, with a valid Pennsylvania Pharmacist license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pharmacist in mail order, retail, or specialty pharmacy
- Experience with REMS programs is required
- In-depth knowledge of patient counseling and pharmacy software
- Completion of thirty (30) continuing education credits during the two-year reporting period, approved by ACPE
