Job Summary

To support a health plan's pharmaceutical benefits, the full-time Pennsylvania Licensed Pharmacist will manage drug information, perform literature reviews, and collaborate with the Health Plan Pharmacy Customer Service team while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between the Health Plan and customers regarding pharmaceutical benefits
• Perform medical necessity reviews for formulary exceptions and prior authorizations
• Develop clinical criteria for new and existing pharmaceuticals as part of a drug review function

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
• Licensed Pharmacist in Pennsylvania within 90 days of employment
• Experience in pharmacy utilization management and formulary expertise
