Job Summary
Supporting patient care in a full-time capacity, the Pennsylvania Licensed Pharmacy Technician will collaborate with internal teams, manage prescription information, and facilitate medication access for patients in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborates with team members to gather necessary paperwork and prescription billing information
- Creates patient profiles in the pharmacy information system and processes prescriptions
- Facilitates access to medications and resolves coverage issues for patients with limited financial resources
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of experience in a community-based retail or hospital outpatient pharmacy
- Preferred CPHT certification and an Associate's Degree
- Knowledge of outpatient prescription program payer/PBM billing and medication billing systems
- Experience with Patient Assistance Programs and/or indigent drug programs is highly desired
- Demonstrated computer literacy, including experience with pharmacy operating systems and Microsoft Office
