Job Summary
To support a growing healthcare initiative, the part-time Pennsylvania Licensed Post Acute RN will perform telephonic utilization management, collaborating with hospital staff and physicians to ensure appropriate care settings while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct telephonic reviews of hospital admissions and recommend alternative levels of care as necessary
- Collaborate with hospital case management and physicians to facilitate timely discharge planning
- Maintain accurate data entry and compliance with state and federal regulations regarding utilization decisions
Required Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania RN license or compact license including Pennsylvania
- Registered Nurse/BS preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
- Prior experience in Post Acute discharge planning and/or utilization management is required
- Must reside in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Delaware
