Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Pennsylvania Licensed Precert Care Manager will document and review clinical information, make authorization determinations for mental health and substance use disorder services, and manage crisis interventions while covering evening shifts and rotating weekends and holidays.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinates and maintains daily logs for reporting and analysis of member incidents and quality of care concerns
- Independently problem solves using advanced knowledge of the service delivery system and clinical treatment for behavioral health and substance use disorder services
- Facilitates linkages for members and families between primary care and behavioral health providers to develop coordinated service plans
Required qualifications:
- A current and unrestricted Pennsylvania Licensure in a health or human services field (LSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT) and master's degree or licensed RN (BSN preferred)
- Minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience
- Experience with adult and child/adolescent populations in mental health and substance use disorder services is strongly preferred
- General knowledge of best practices in behavioral health, especially with special needs or priority populations
- Certification in substance use disorders is helpful
