Pennsylvania Licensed Professional Nurse

Job Summary

To support the office remotely, the full-time Pennsylvania Licensed Professional Nurse will participate in quality improvement efforts, build positive relationships with team members and patients, and apply critical thinking in patient care while being available for weekend shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in quality improvement efforts and utilize evidence-based practices
• Formulate holistic care plans and assist physicians in patient care
• Teach and support patients, families, and new staff members

Required qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Pennsylvania or a multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) license
• Minimum of six months of nursing experience preferred; BSN preferred
• BLS or CPR certification required within 30 days of hire
• Knowledge and skills for age-specific patient care
• UPMC approved national certification preferred
