Job Summary
To support the fiscal administration of grants and contracts, the full-time Pennsylvania Licensed Sponsored Projects Accountant will perform post-award accounting duties, monitor account activity, and prepare financial reports in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Activate new awards and maintain ongoing amendments, renewals, and extensions in the Oracle financial system
- Prepare and submit periodic reimbursement claims and financial reports while monitoring project progress throughout their life cycle
- Assist with policy interpretation and government report preparation related to grants and contracts
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related business field preferred
- Willingness to learn and adapt, with relevant experience considered in lieu of degree
- Experience with automated accounting systems and Excel is beneficial
- No prior experience required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
