Pennsylvania Licensed Staff Nurse

Job Summary

To support patient care in the Preadmission OP Lab, the full-time Pennsylvania Licensed Staff Nurse will manage patient assessments, develop care plans, and provide education to patients and families while working remotely during regular daytime hours, Monday through Friday.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain productive relationships with patients and colleagues, demonstrating accountability and commitment to care
• Apply the nursing process to create individualized care plans and effectively communicate patient conditions to the care team
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support the professional development of staff and students

Required qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in Pennsylvania or a compact state
• BSN preferred, with zero to two years of nursing experience
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and ability to teach patients and families
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate critical thinking in patient care
