Pennsylvania Licensed Staff Pharmacist

Job Summary

To enhance patient care and satisfaction, the full-time salaried Pennsylvania Licensed Staff Pharmacist will manage incoming calls regarding medication inquiries, perform clinical reviews, and authorize prescription refills while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Gather pertinent information from callers and review electronic medical records to address medication-related questions and issues
• Conduct thorough medication reviews and authorize prescription refills based on clinical guidelines and collaborative practice agreements
• Document encounters in the electronic medical record and participate in updating scripting and documentation materials

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (Required); Doctoral Degree preferred
• Licensed Pharmacist in Pennsylvania within 90 days of hire
• Experience in clinical pharmacy practice preferred
• Proficiency in order processing and medication review
• Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare providers
